Balancing what’s best for NATO

US President and convicted felon Donald Trump has met with the head of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) secretary-general Mark Rutte in Washington DC.

It was a closed door meeting but I’m sure Trump’s ‘itching’ to remove the United States from NATO would have been a talking point.

I understand America puts a lot in to NATO, perhaps more than other nations, but with the trillions of dollars the US seems to be able to find in waging war, I’m sure they can afford it.

Trump’s just annoyed that NATO won’t come running every time he calls for an illegal war. A fact that cannot penetrate even the thickest of skulls, whether it be the MAGA cult or Donald Trump himself.

While the loss of America for NATO would no doubt be a blow, is it worth the difficulty of having to deal with the current US administration?

Trump wants to turn the USA into his own North Korea, cut off from the world. But he also wants to involve himself in the affairs of other countries.

You’re in or you’re out Donnie!
