Fri 10 April, 2026: I first heard the term “fatberg” in relation to London’s clogged sewerage lines and now it’s here in Australia, in particular Sydney.

The shit is not so much hitting the fan, but with “poo balls” washing up on Sydney beaches. Photos that are unlikely to show up in New South Wales Tourism advertisements.
